Simon Dormer is a Chartered Surveyor with 30 years experience in the property sector. E-Rail is a company that helps secure funding from private sector landowners to enable fixed transport projects to be delivered. Simon has been extensively involved in the successful delivery of E-Rail’s unique LVC method which has been successfully used in the UK. Simon’s specialisms lie in the valuation of Commercial and Residential developments. He is involved with identifying property development opportunities and negotiating property development agreements. Simon is able to identify where land changes value, particularly when new transport infrastructure is introduced. He works with E-Rail on projects throughout the UK, Europe, Australasia and North America, principally advising the transport proponent, and is able to identify opportunities where private sector landowners and developers can help fund the cost of the project. Simon liaises with all interested parties including the local planning authority, the transport proponent and the landowners to secure the funding.
